Originally built by eccentric film producer and aviator Howard Hughes, the Texas Theatre has a history that’s equally as riveting as the films it screens, as this is where Lee Harvey Oswald was captured after his assassination of President Kennedy. Despite undergoing a major facelift, it was remodeled again to its original facade to film a movie about JFK. Today, it’s one of the most storied landmarks in Dallas and a great place to catch a movie showing. Curious to discover more of Dallas? Click here to explore.
